Last month, Mazda dealerships like us here at Menlo Mazda, serving the Redwood  City, San Jose, and San Francisco areas, had quite the busy April. Why, you ask? Well, that's because drivers locally and across the nation were out purchasing new Mazda models, as April sales were up 21 percent on a year-to-date basis.

Mazda Successfully Rides the 'Wall of Death'

If you've ever been to a carnival, there is a possibility you've seen the 'Wall of Death.' This circular wall angled close to 90-degrees has seen its share of daredevil motorcyclists scale its track and ride around at convention-defying positions. It's crazy enough to there are people out there to try it on a motorcycle, but what about a car? Well, Mazda decided to put one of its vehicles to the task of climbing the 'Wall of Death.'

As the world's first bionic man, the fictional astronaut Steve Austin was rebuilt with the best technology to come back 'better, stronger, and smarter' than he ever was before in the hit television series The Six Million Dollar Man from the 1970s. Inspired by the show, Mazda is launching the "Better. Stronger. Smarter." campaign to unveil the new and improved 2013 Mazda CX-5 crossover SUV.

Special Edition Mazda MX-5 Miata Hits the Market

Mazda lovers in Redwood City, San Jose, and across the nation probably heard the news about the next installment of the Mazda MX-5 Miata at the Chicago Auto Show held in February. In case you hadn't, company officials have stated they will recharge the original Miata for its 2014 model. While that's a bit of a ways off, you don't have to be disappointed. Mazda is planning a release of the 2012 MX-5 Miata Special Edition.

Mazda Boosts CX-5, Mazda6 with Takeri

The Geneva Auto Show, which ran March 8-18, provides an opportunity for auto manufacturers across the world to come together to debut new models, concept cars, and the latest vehicle technology automakers plan to bring to the market in the coming months. Mazda joined in on the action, bringing two new models to the event; the new Mazda CX-5, and Takeri, a concept design that will likely find its way on to new Mazda vehicles soon.
