We say this because they've recently signed a new deal with the navigation gurus at TomTom to have their new model lineup supplied with in-dash GPS devices. The Japanese automaker announced their partnership with the Dutch company recently at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Specifically, TomTom's navigation devices will be found in models like the MAZDA3 and MAZDA5, as well as the upcoming Mazda CX-5, which also debuted at Frankfurt. This new partnership adds yet another layer to the value that more and more people are finding in the Japanese automaker's lineup each day.

Along with connecting new Mazda owners to their solution enabling dynamic routing, which is based on live traffic updates, TomTom's Blue&Me LIVE is another feature that drivers are sure to love. Through it, Drivers can connect via Bluetooth with any compatible mobile device and media player. By doing this, the system can utilize up-to-date speed camera information, live weather updates, and even local search to find various points of interest. Currently, TomTom's navigation devices are features only in Europe on the recently launched MAZDA5. This new deal expands the addition of TomTom devices to more models in more regions.

Giles Shrimpton, managing director of TomTom added: "Due to the success of TomTom's connected navigation product on the Mazda5, I am pleased to see it being rolled out on the new MAZDA3 facelift model offering customers a great connected in-dash navigation experience. The navigation technology of TomTom is state-of-the-art and very user-friendly - a perfect fit to our brand and our vehicles [e.g., Mazda MX-5 Miata and MAZDA6]."¹
